Depending on the type of exam required, your physician may have several different recommendations or requests.

For some examinations, you may be required to remove your eyeglasses, watch, credit cards or any other metallic items you are carrying.

Your doctor might also ask you to refrain from eating or drinking anything (except water) six hours before your test.

Please contact your physician before the examination and get specific instructions on how to prepare for your exam.

 

After your examination you can expect to leave immediately and return to normal activities. Your physician will contact you regarding your results.
